Max's membership at Pavitt's is soon ending. The issue with a negative Body Pump instructor is still bothering Max and has not been resolved. Max likes change. What do you think about changing over to the Alaska Club in the Valley (JRC)? They are having a promotion for $10 enrollment and $19.99 the first month.

The Tai-Chi class (above) on Tuesday is open to non-members for a reasonable price ($32/mo) that I am willing to pay. This might be a good martial art for Max....slow, deliberate control.
You can check it out at the front desk of the JRC/Valley location. The registration is online at this location: http://www.thealaskaclub.com/new/classes/valley.html
Someone should take Max over and have a walk-through and pick up some literature. They offer a free one-day pass and different types of membership. They have a basketball court, pool, group fitness classes.

ReplyDeleteGayla: I think we need to follow up so that his Blog
ReplyDeleteSpot information and how to get to it are clearly posted at the home...I truly think people aren't sure how to access, since it takes me about 5 tries each time I read the blog.
With regard to the gym membership, I think that it is a great idea to try out JRC Alaska. Club. We, too, have a membership there, and it is a bit more inviting than Pavitts. Max could join our family once per week to play at this valley gym, and I have a free guest pass for one try.
Tom, are you willing to take Max to JRC?
Team: Max will be coming up on a few weeks of more transition, with Joe leaving soon, and Brandon taking over the 4-midnight piece. Next week, Evelyn will be cross training with Max, and she will try out some night shifts soon. We have a few staff who will come just over the Summer to work with Max, so it important that all staff and team members are on the right page and participating fully with blogs/notes/etc
